Base System & Licensing

HyperionOS AstralVibe is based on Ubuntu Budgie LTS 24.04.2. It includes modifications aimed at improving performance and user experience, such as the Liquorix kernel, system tweaks, and the inclusion of Zen Browser. Zen Browser is licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, and no modifications have been made to it.

HyperionOS respects your privacy. Since HyperionOS is an operating system distributed for personal use and does not collect any personal information, no user data is stored, shared, or sold.

  • Telemetry: HyperionOS does not include any telemetry or tracking software.
  • Third-party software: Any apps included (e.g., Zen Browser) retain their own privacy policies, and HyperionOS is not responsible for their data handling.
  • Downloads & Updates: HyperionOS may provide links to download updates or additional software. Users are responsible for reviewing the source and ensuring safe usage.
